From Osaka, we made a day trip to the ancient capital of Japan, Nara.  First, we visited the beautiful Isuien Garden before making our way to the massive Tōdai-ji, which houses the largest Buddha statue in Japan.  It was pretty funny to see tourists feed hungry  deer.  We also saw Kōfuku-ji, a Buddhist temple, which was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples.
