I was really looking forward to visiting Gdansk because of its history (where WWII started and where the Solidarity Movement was born), and I wasn’t disappointed. Visiting the Solidarity Museum was a highlight. It gave me an even deeper appreciation for what workers and Pols had struggled for – freedom against an oppressive regime. The Museum was deeply moving, forever leaving an imprint on my thoughts of mass movements.
